Answering a Question

                                                                   Aliens Among Us

The thought that aliens may be among might seem a bit crazy, but as we know there are a lot of stars. Research has shown that 50 percent of the stars have planets in our galaxy alone. 50 Percent would be roughly around 100 billion planets! So if there are that many planets, another life form isn't that ridiculous. People throughout history have seen things they shouldn't or just had an experience that wasn't quite right, or normal. Personal testimonies, pictures/videos, and abduction all can be used as credible evidence that aliens are in fact among us.

When it involves aliens, personal testimonies usually aren't taken seriously. The person testifying commonly getting called liars, delusional, or even mentally insane, but why would someone make up being in the presence of something they firmly don't or at least didn't believe in before? "On the night of September 12, 1994, a new radar system was being tested at Mexico City's international airport. During the test, a large stationary radar return appeared on the observers' screens."(Conformation 36) After what appeared on the screen vanished right away, the people who were checking the radar had decided to call it a malfunction or mishap. Fast forward a few nights, and the object was located around Metepec, an area relatively close to Mexico City. A lady managed to have a video camera, and when she saw something usual it immediately caught her eye, and it had her spooked. She described what she saw to Jamie Maussan "I saw its head and look at me in the window where I was standing. Its eyes were sad. They looked like the eyes of a monkey."(Conformation 36) So right there the lady is describing that she saw something that wasn't normal in terms of being a human. When Maussan  questions if it wasn't just a joke she stated " I want to tell you something straight. I don't know anything about these things." This was in reference to telling Jamie Mussan her opinions on her work, she then added "When I see you on TV, I change the channel. Because I do not believe in these things. Not at all. I believe we are a million light years behind these people." So if she truly doesn't believe at all that aliens are among us, then why would she even show the tape, or even believe what she saw. It doesn't make sense for her to explain in detail what she saw, but then blast Ms. Maussan about aliens and other life forms being not real. Obviously something she came across wasn't like anything she had seen and it made her a believer even if only for a minute.

Pictures and videos have appeared quite often showing signs or possibly suggesting that alien's could be among us. Pictures usually are tossed aside as fake or a joke, but sometimes there are ones that look so real that it causes a discussion. Famous UFO pictures such as The Battle Over Los Angeles, 1944, Valpra, Mexico, 2004 siting and one of the most famous of them all McMinnville, Oregon, 1950 Where a man by the name of Paul Trent and his wife photographed a pretty vivid picture of what appears to be a UFO. Videos have been taken showing something that looks like an alien in Mexico. Alien spotting's are noting nothing big foot where they get reported daily. They are rare because obvious fake ones are easy to tell. If you are going to show a picture or video of an alien it had better look legitimate. You cannot really make an alien costume with ease or act like one unless you are a smaller human with a big head and dark black eyes. Still the videos and pictures get can't seem to get enough evidence to prove it’s real, but on the other hand is there enough evidence to prove its fake? I personally don't think so. Unlike other myths, alien and UFO sightings all usually always similar in detail. If almost everyone who has taken a picture or video of an alien or UFO happens to appear to look like all the rest that can't be a coincidence can it, I mean that would be difficult to make it so everyone's view or experience seeing one is alike.

Abductions, yes everyone has heard about it, yet it is perceived as the most far-fetched topics involving aliens. The common thought is a huge UFO ship flies over you and launches this massive beam of light which sucks you into the ship, well that isn't entirely what most abduction victims say. It is very shocking that almost all victims go through nearly identical steps during the abduction process when asked. Sheila an abduction patient of Dr. Waterman said "I had gone to bed around 11 after my husband after unsuccessfully trying to give him a huge I think I went to bed on my left side but awoke on my back hearing a high pitched noise."(Personally I don't believe in UFOs 79) So in her case she was in her own bed and awoke in a room that appeared foreign to her. There was not a ship that pulled her into the sky that she can recall. Most abduction victims have said the same thing, however the most interesting thing is what happens to them when they are taken. Being place on a table naked, with your energy gone almost paralyzed is what the victims experience at first. Next they are basically surgically inspected in almost every area of their body except the chest, normally. Seems that a lot of needles are stuck into the person’s body.  The needles were stuck "right in my forehead".(Personally I don't believe in UFOs 82) Sheila exclaimed. So maybe if it isn't just a big ship in the sky that has a beam of light raining down that everyone could see maybe it is possible that abductions happen. If the majority of abductees proclaim they were taken almost the identical was, yet also were experimented on almost the identical way it would seem there is some truth to this. I figure it would be hard for everyone to say the exact same thing. Someone would say something different, well at least you'd think that.

In conclusion there may not be one hundred percent factual evidence that aliens are real, but with personal Testimonies, videos or pictures and people who have claimed to be abducted. Like I said from the start there are estimated 100 billion planets and 1 billion of them is are known to me capable of inhabiting human life. So if this is true I’d say it’s not highly unlikely that someone or something else is living among us and we don’t even know it.
